Overgrowth! is the first design project that lasted 4 weeks over the first semester period. Every individual is required to study a certain material and to design a pavillion to house a work of art in the Dempsey area.
The material (or rather, immaterial) chosen by me is weather. It explores the parasitic activity surrounding weathering and the growth of foreign entities interacting on the old entities. The circulation of the pavilion is designed to replicated the growth of vines in the area: irregular, nonparallel and non-perpendicular.
