2007 ends with a bang, literally..
The year’s been good, and like any other year, there has been peaks and troughs. The high points seems to outweigh the lows, and the lows ain’t that bad either. Leaving the Army, worked in a Ministry, pursuing my dream, ending off with the annual trip to China (again, I swear I would not go if my paternal families are going again next year).
Three environments, three different groups of friends, same old nonsense. I guess its time to pay a little homage to these people.
Army
You guys are the best dudes that one can ever have serving hell in the army. Suffian never ceases to entertain with his corny, lame, irritating and nonsense conversations. Miss all our “intellectual discussions”, dude. Muhardi, aka Mufaggy and his gayness, movie nights with durians and guard duties. Quzair and his cheerful demeanor, never in a year have I seen him pissed off. Wee hung, aka Hungster, another joker in the making, gay partner of Suffian and anime freak. Jonathan our responsible daddy, the smart father of 4 year old Timmy, whose CAP is currently 4.64 and a great friend to have. Jason Gabe, the psycho lawyer in the making (currently doing a double degree in psychology and law at SMU). Zamir the true blue MAT, also called Paul bin Twohill for a period of time. Finally, boss Ardlee, who makes work fun and time passes fast. All the winning eleven games in the office, stayovers, movie nights, bullshit sessions, bbqs, drinking will be embedded in a part of memory of 2007.
MOE
Endless workload. That basically sums up my stint at a certain building in Buona Vista. Still, there are definitely fond memories there. My HREs, fellow colleagues, both in the department and outside the department. Going back again for another stint next week, looking forward to catching up with them. Wishing a happy marriage to the scholar teacher Huan Xin, nonsensical bickering with my motormouth boss Cindy, the laughter of Grace, the help of Yoke, and my unseriously serious manager Yen Fei.
NUS Archi
My second home (though its fast becoming my first). Sleepovers in school, suppers, yamcake and cheesecake. Stress, submissions, PF lectures, GEK lectures, zen. Techno Edge all night long coffee and milk tea. Close mates like NWH, Owen, Joleen, Cristal (Jie Mei!). Dudes and babes like Aileen, Mervin, Wan Xuan, Yanyi, Yong Shen, Danny, Li En, Vanessa, Ping Lei, Iyan, Zhijie, Christopher, Cat. Not forgetting my studio, Studio 2. The pictures will speak alot more than what I have to write, so here goes..
And of course, who can forget old frens?
