Like a model kit without the glue, an electric guitar isn’t complete without an amplifier. So to make it as easy as possible for the beginner, Yamaha includes both-plus much more besides – in a choice of inexpensive packages.
The package includes a two humbucker/one single-coil guitar, the ERG121U, and with it you’ll find a GA-10 practice amp – plenty loud enough to wake up the neighbours and featuring a distortion-friendly drive switch. What’s more Yamaha bundles in a bunch of handy accessories including a gig bag and electronic tuner, a string winder and spare set of strings, and some plectrums and a strap. Everything you need, in fact.
Anybody got other electric guitar package to recommend? Budget is less than $500. No need to be first hand. Of course, best if it can be a fender strat or a les paul (gibson or epiphone is ok with me).
Right, I know getting a fender strat or a les paul package for less than 500 bucks is like having a hot date with Sora Aoi and Maria Ozawa at the same time.
how much is that yamaha package anyway?
$515.14 as a non member. $437.87 as a member.
