I received a call from the Ministry Of Education today. It was regarding a job application that I sent in last week. Strange thing is, they replied immediately the next day, stating that they are in no need of people. But now they are calling me. Well, I’m not complaining.
The lady on the phone talked so fast that I cannot really catch what she is saying. Not that I really care, I’m just happy I found a job. The pay’s ok, considering I don’t really had any proper work experience to start with (one stint at a french bank sorting mail, another as an outdoor instructor). The only proper work experience that I had was in army, where I served as a finance and maintenance specialist on top of my instructor role.
This job is supposed to last me till July, whereI’ll embark on my university life at NUS. If I managed to fund enough money, maybe that Korea trip before university might work out.
I start work next week, right after I ORD. Wish me luck.
